I think knowing about snakes would be a hard one for me! Lucky for us in Europe, snakes are seldom a problem! 😁 Have a great day or what's left of it! 😁 Groetjes Kaat
@@DorisHikingAdventures Thanks Dori, I watched that one I've seen all of your videos now. I really loved the Cape to Cape walk, so beautiful! Might make that one a yearly hike even.
Hi Tim, so far so good, I have been hiking for more than 500km with the tent and I absolutely love it still. The only thing annoying is their availability...so keep an eye out on the website when they are back in stock... I also love how it is possible to just setup the inner tent :D
Good tips. I wonder how one goes about identifying snakes. It seems quite a specialized area. I lived in Africa for two years and there were snakes of all sorts in many parts. My approach, being young back then, was to remember that I'm immortal and I just went places that smarter people would not have. Now I"m older, and it seems obvious that counting on luck is a poor approach. ;)
I think it's about researching the types of venomous snakes in the area before you go. Australia is full of snakes and to this day I am still no expert haha, but i know how to identify the deadly ones 😂 And i was terrified of snakes at first, but now i know they will leave you alone if you don't corner them 😊😊
